SMSUA Concludes Accelerated Learning Programme

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School concluded a two-day programme for its 226 Form 5 students, entitled "Study Skills Using Accelerated Learning", with a closing ceremony at its multipurpose hall last Saturday.

At the ceremony, Schol Principal Hj. Jumaat Salleh expressed hopes that the students will benefit from such programme and will excel in their upcoming O-Level examinations.

The invited speaker, Muhaini Musa who ran the two-day programme, said that she was proud of what the students have achieved and also hoped that through the programme, the student will make full use of the knowledge gained for their future.

Also in attendance at the ceremony was teh Ministry of Education's Career and Guidance Counselling Unit Officer, Dyg. Hjh Rokayah Hj Tawe.

The two-day programme taught the students various study skill activities, which included mind-mapping school subjects in groups. The students were also advised that proper diet could stimulate the brain, and hence, to choose what they eat.

Feedbacks from the students showed they were grateful to have participated in such a valuable, beneficial and mind-opening programme.
